On Dec.28, according to report by Odaily in China, a source close to Bitmain, the world’s largest cryptocurrency mining giant from China, reveals that the current Bitmain co-CEOs, namely Jihan Wu and Micree Zhan will step down from their roles at the same time, and another Bitmain staff surnamed Wang will succeed as new Bitmain CEO.The source also revealed that "It has not been finally determined and the company is in a transitional period now."
Previously in November, Bitmain has denied the widely circulated reports that its co-CEO, Jihan Wu, has been ousted from the board of BitMain Technologies Holding Company, the entity currently seeking to go public on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKEX).
